Plot Overview Ghum Hai Kisi ke Pyaar Mein
Season 1-Ghum Hai Kisi ke Pyaar Mein
Living in Gadchiroli with her father, Inspector Kamal Joshi, Sai Joshi hopes to attend Nagpur Medical College to pursue a medical degree. In the meantime, Nagpur-based IPS officer Virat Chavan ends himself in Gadchiroli. He meets Patralekha in a retreat before departing and becomes enamoured with her. But destiny steps in, and at her parents’ request, Patralekha is engaged to Samrat, Virat’s cousin. Virat convinces her to proceed with the engagement despite her want to put it off, promising to love her exclusively.
After her father, Kamal, gives his life to save Virat in Gadchiroli, Sai grows resentful of him. Reluctantly, Sai agrees to Virat’s proposal of a compromise marriage in honour of Kamal’s final request. Because of Sai’s inferior social standing, the Chavan family opposes their union when they return to Nagpur. But Virat ultimately comes to like Sai, and after a series of miscommunications, they declare their love for one another.
While Pakhi, who had grown fond of Samrat, loses him in a terrible rescue effort, Sai goes on to become pregnant. Pakhi manipulates the situation by placing the blame on Sai, which results in Sai’s miscarriage and infertility. Pakhi becomes a surrogate for their child, Vinayak, in an attempt to draw closer to Virat. Following Vinayak’s birth, Pakhi makes an attempt at suicide. Sai looks into Pakhi’s role in illicit surrogacy after becoming suspicious of her behaviour and has her jailed.
Pakhi’s bail causes a gap between Sai and Virat, so Sai leaves with Vinayak. The Chavans believe Sai and Vinayak had died in a tragic accident. Sai, on the other hand, lives and discovers she is expecting Savi. In Kankavli, she raised Savi by herself. While on a camping vacation, Vinayak—now Virat’s adopted son—meets Sai and Savi. Virat later learns that Vinayak is his biological son after being surprised by Sai’s survival. Sai decides to permanently cut ties with Virat in order to prevent upsetting Pakhi’s nuptials. She later weds a coworker named Satya, which breaks Virat’s heart. Pakhi leaves Virat’s life after discovering he never really loved her.
Later, Satya is paralysed after suffering injuries in an accident. Sai intends to take him to Germany for therapy in accordance with medical advise. Sai and Virat bravely save everyone when the plane is hijacked while they are en route. They are imprisoned inside, nevertheless, and in their last minutes declare their love before dying in a bombing.
Season 2-Ghum Hai Kisi ke Pyaar Mein
While Vinayak is studying MBBS in Pune, Savi, who is now an adult, hopes to become an IAS official. Ramtek becomes the new home for the Chavan family. Childhood friends Reeva Marathe and Dr. Ishaan Bhosale, director of the Bhosale Institute of Excellence, are getting married in Pune. Ishaan, however, is traumatised by his mother Isha’s desertion. Ishaan feels deceived when Reeva’s mother forces her to travel to London on their engagement day.
Savi avoids an arranged marriage while obtaining a scholarship at the Bhosale Institute. He becomes her tutor after being mistreated by Ishaan at first. Ishaan and Reeva resume their romance once Reeva returns. But Ishaan weds Savi in a temple ceremony following Harini’s heartbreaking request for her safety. Savi eventually leaves the Bhosale home after hearing of her family’s passing. As time goes on, Ishaan comes to adore Savi.
In the meantime, Bhanwar, a dishonest policeman, becomes fixated by Savi. Ishaan makes amends with Isha and declares his love for Savi on the day of their wedding. Bhanwar is killed in a fight when Reeva moves aside. Ishaan, who is hurt, begs his parents to take care of Savi before he passes away.
Later, Savi teaches in Mumbai, where she makes friends with Saisha “Sai” Thakkar, her young neighbour. Rajat, Saisha’s father, is a rich but aloof businessman who battles his past, particularly with regard to his ex-wife Ashika. Rajat and Savi get married in order to obtain custody after Ashika reopens Sai’s custody lawsuit. However, their divorce results from manipulation of Rajat’s confidence. After a terrible accident, Rajat looks for atonement while Savi lives. After making amends, the two consummate their love.
A family member named Kiaan is killed after Ashika’s accomplice Arsh kidnaps him during a gaming competition. Savi is expelled from the Thakkar home after being held accountable. Later on, she learns of her amazing pregnancy. Ashika, meantime, coerces Bhagyashree into wedlock with Rajat. In a confrontation, Ashika admits to planning Kiaan’s abduction but disputes having malicious intent. After Arsh kills Ashika, Savi stabs Arsh to death in retaliation. Ashika gives Sai to Savi in her last moments.
After two years, Savi accepts parenthood and fulfils her aim of becoming an IAS official. As her family, which includes Rajat and Sai, applauds her, she proudly raises the national flag.
Season 3-Ghum Hai Kisi ke Pyaar Mein
Tejaswini Chavan, a lifelong admirer of singer Ruturaj Rane, resides in Amravati with her brother Vedaan and parents Mohit and Mukta. Aditi, Mohit’s daughter, suffers with mental illness, and his first marriage to Lakshmi is still tense. Tejaswini’s life experiences new connections, emotional upheavals, and hardships as the season progresses.
